Description

Concluded and open in 1938, the Church of Our Lady of Fátima was the first church built in the 20th century to display a novel approach to architecture as well as liturgy in the city of Lisbon. Thanks to its flawless architectural design, as well as the valuable contribution of a team of artists responsible for the religious iconography, the building has become one of the most lauded and referenced in Portuguese Modern art. Winner of the 1938 Valmor Award.
