Description
Part of the history of Lisbon’s reconstruction post-earthquake is written on the foundations of Pombal period buildings. This new site bears witness to the robustness of those foundations, translated in spatial and constructive clarity by a classically-inspired architectural approach. Located in the heart of historical Lisbon, it has become part of a network of the city’s creative hotspots. The restoration and rehabilitation works sought to restore the site’s architectural intensity and identity.
